Deflection shield - An ability developed early on by Artemus whereby sharp curves in space are temporarily created near his body, deflecting projectiles away from him.
Demons - Long ago, Satan corrupted one of the earliest races created, the Nazlor. This magic-using race created the evil energy quadra. Infused with the quadra, this race became the first of the demons, the true-blood demons. They are immortal, extremely fast and agile, and able to change shape at will. Few can stand up to a true-blood and survive. A demon is normally someone with a quadra level of 3. Full-Blood demons are normally someone with a quadra level of 43.
Denten - The demon army which scours entire galaxies of life in its effort to blotch out the light. The true-blood demons, the originals, add to their army by conquering worlds and corrupting viable warriors with quadra.
Denten Ranks - Every Denten warrior is ranked on the following list for three names. Often a warrior will be referred to by these rank names instead of individual names.
Each Denten is also given a serial number, which includes part of their ranking. The breakdown of the number is as follows:
First digit: Rank job number (1 - 4)
Second digit: Rank level (1 - 9)
Third digit: Limb count (1 - '0') ('0' represents any number 10 or greater)
Fourth and Fifth digits: Squad number within specific mothership (00 - 99)
Sixth digit: Quadra level administered upon entering Denten forces (3 - 9)
Note: Squad's are very large (generally from 10,000 - 1,000,000). The number tends to represent the order in which the warriors were taken from their home planets and thus blocks of squads may represent the conquest of a planet. Once squad 99 is full, the addition of new warriors loops around to squad 00. This allows squads to periodically replenish lost troops.
Diffibon - An optical unit soul-grafted to X which allows him to see in all spectrums and display many things. Looks like an eye and is connected to the eightyeight unit.
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's a sort of electronic book. It tells you everything you need to know about anything. That's its job."
Arthur turned it over nervously in his hands.
"I like the cover," he said. "'Don't Panic.' It's the first helpful or intelligible thing anybody's said to me all day."
